NearMeGala unleashes digital tokens taking care of woos at queues

Digital Tokens

11 November 2018: NEARMEGALA:

Serpentine queues are the problem of the present society living in the metros. Any solution to address this pain would be a great welcoming initiative. One such solution gave raise to virulent e-commerce activity. However nothing equals the experience of live shopping at the counters.

The shopping part is heart-warming but the long line at the billing counters is boring and dreadful too. This time if utilised for better purposes, would be a welcoming change, feel many city inhabitants.

Then the second most common issue is the waiting at the parking fee counter at a busy mall. Be it movie goers or shopping freaks, none are exempt from the parking worries, especially at the entry and exit points to collect and pay fee tickets. In addition there is a lot of paper wasted annually on them, which directly impacts the trees as well.

Hence what is the much awaited solution, every pain is addressed by the intelligent as opportunities while the clueless feel it as a problem.

To address the issue ThoughtProcessSoftTech, headed by its founder GOPI K have devised a novel strategy ‘DIGITAL TOKENS,’ through ‘NEARMEGALA.’

In a candid chat with Way2World, GOPI reveals, ‘ThoughtProcessSoftTech thrives to deliver innovate products which will help the society lead a better life while saving nature.’ ‘Waiting in line at checkout in any shopping mall is painful experience to a consumer. Losing parking token paper is very common problem.’

‘Hence we designed the digital token mechanism that avoids waiting at billing counters and issues a paperless parking token on an app. This token could be shown at the exit and the process could be hastened without loss of valuable paper too.

Now how does the digital token at the billing counter help, ‘simple, the token will advise the appropriate timing when the particular biller should be at the counter to pay. In the meantime the shopper could trot away for a snappy snack or play a video game or anything else deemed fit.’

He concluded, ‘With the raise in population count, even people who go to shopping are also increasing. But at the same time, even the waiting queue is also increasing at checkout. Many trees are being used for parking tokens. However this is time to take an initiative for paperless systems.’

The beta version is ready for implementation and they would like to start from Bengaluru and then expand across the other metros.

The founding team includes Chaitanya – Developer and Mayur – Developer, while the co-founders are Nagaraju and Srinivas. The entire team is IT proficient and would like to design more such innovative strategies for better living.

Way2World admires and salutes their initiative that would help humans live happily while safeguarding nature by curtailing cutting of trees. With inputs from internet – RajKishan
