01 SVESANGRAU invited with open hands techies to demonstrate their prowess in various challenges that were bothering the agricultural sector. Agriculture was the main activity during the beginning of our civilization and hence the oldest economic generator. However the recent generators have overtaken this old machine and there are very few takers to adopt this profession.

Continuance of this pathetic situation will only deteriorate the food security of the nation. To avoid such a situation today’s techies must concentrate on this segment and add their creative niche in making farming a tech driven, which in turn will attract even the elite to take it up as a lucrative option.

Minimum 10000 StartUps are needed to make this dream a reality. Working on this vision ANGRAU is ready to extend any help to upcoming agri-ideators.  During the Session Dr KADIRI MOHAN spoke about the services extended by ANGRAU-AGRI INNOVATIONS AND ENTREPRENEURSHIP DEVELOPMENT CELL and ANGRAU POSHAN INCUBATOR.
