23012020 St Pious Women’s College Hyderabad
The day dawned as a value addition to self with amazing interaction with the students of St Pious Women’s College, Hyderabad. I was invited by Shri Parthasarathy, advisor to the college and Smt Latha HOD of MBA.
As the Program opened up the Lecture by Sister Velankanni who heads the institution was really worth my day. the advancements the college had done to encourage entrepreneurship on the campus was amazing.
Later I was invited to talk on StartUp Cycle and Legal formalities. Started on the need of harnessing the Women Human resources to announce the nation as a developed one is the imminent need. The three factors that affected women entrepreneurship were social stigma, fear of Failure and Spotlight Syndrome. The day one overcomes these three success is inevitable.
Then went on to talk about 3E policy – Explore, Empower and Enterprise and by following this in a systematic way an entity thus born will achieve optimum potential.
Next addressed three points:
- Get out of your Comfort zone – Fresh Phulkas
- Think Different – Think Development – Hydrilla
- Problems are opportunities in disguise – Go Amma – WAY2WORLD
In conclusion wished them all luck while boosting their confidence that StartUp Ecosystem is never biased and their are some good initiatives encouraging women as well like TiE – AIRSWEEE, WSQUARE and Government initiatives for women. Also hoped some in the crowd would be unicorns in the near future which would add real value to the present session. RajKishan
