A social initiative backed by profound research. In her own words Aruna Sood is the ‘hero of the week’. In her own words, Ms Aruna feels her product is in the interest of society and a common man / woman who suffers the most due to the problem of cracked heals. Most of the women, farmers and men doing hard work face this problem of cracks on the heels.
What led to the idea: I was suffering from the problems of crack heels for quite some time and used various Cracks removing chemical creams available in the market. With the continuous use, these creams gave rise to various side effects and moreover the moment you stop using these creams the problem reoccurred.
How do you rate your product: My product is a pedicure pot, which is useful for removing cracks on the heels and rejuvenating feet. Pot is light weight, easy to use by anybody and everybody, the cost of which is also affordable to everybody.
Considering the various products available in the market, how do you feel you have an edge: My product is low cost product without any side effects and it is only a one- time investment. Whole family can get quality benefits other than removal of cracks by this product whereas other competitive products are various Cracks removing chemical creams available in the market which are repeated investments without giving qualitative benefits. Since they are chemicals, various side effects are reported from the continuous uses of such creams.
Have you received a market report on the product: I have already invested in developing this product and my molds for mass production are ready. I have also taken out pilot lot and marketed it successfully with innovative marketing strategy. My quality control will ensure the quality of product.
How do you foresee from now: Since this is a universal problem the product will cross the national boundaries in no time. This a unique concept so I have applied for global patent which will give me exclusive rights of marketing in about 110 countries.
So how are you going to go about the issue: I am manufacturing this pedicure pot through my proprietary firm Sudaiv Technologies. Sudaiv is mostly dedicated to health and wellness products.
