Ms NEERJA SETHI cofounded, with her hubby, Bharat Desai, SYNTEL, which is mainly into IT consulting and outsourcing, in 1980 while living in TROY. The initial capital of just $2K turned out to be approx $ 3.6 Bn in recent times with an employee head count of over 25K. She ranks 16 in recent listing of AMERICA’S SELF MADE WOMEN.
Ms JAYSHREE ULLAL took charge of ARISTA NETWORKS as President and CEO in 2008 with just 50 employees and revenues not much to note. Since then she had scaled various hurdles and reached a stage where her company reported $83.9 Mn in 2015. That is great news (wo)man and earned the distinction of being the 30th rank in the recent listing of AMERICA’S SELF MADE WOMEN.
