The Electrical Vehicle (EV) market in India is shaping up in a spectacular manner. This vibrant dynamics in the sector not only is a catalyst to the green revolution but also gives multi level employment to technocrats and commoners alike, while saving a lot on the nation’s exchequer consumed in importing fuel. This is a win-win situation to the entire society.

On the other hand, numerous brands with various salient features on the advertisements keeps confusing the commoner on one side and the recent reports about fires are giving a negative impact on the buyer. Way2World brought some fears to rest with our candid chat with the CEO’s of EVISHWA and OMRMECH.

EVISHWA is an EV manufacturer from Maharashtra and has a wide portfolio with rigorous expansion plans pan India. They are touching half century of sales points across North India and are pinning hopes to enter south.

Now the hot news is that the premium EV manufacturer EVISHWA, who is shortly touching 100 Cr valuations, has sealed a Pact with OMRMECH for marketing their dealerships in South and adjacent territories.

How do you think associating with OMRMECH will benefit your brand?

NITIN GORIVALE (Founder & CEO of EVISHWA):  Basically OMRMECH is a smart working team and unlike many in the industry they have long term plans in the service Industry, similar to EVISHWA. This makes the growth journey simple and successful.

What are your comments on the recent Fire incidents?

NITIN GORIVALE: Personally I have nothing much to say on this because I have not visited or gone into details. However my technical team has adhered to certain standards to avoid such incidents in our vehicles. Unlike many in the market we only offer our vehicles with LFP or LiFePO4 batteries which are Lithium Ferro Phosphate batteries manufactured from high standard materials.  And we also maintain the insulation gap between cells packed in the battery so that the heat does not pass on to the adjacent cell, keeping the whole battery under stable conditions. By this any unpleasant experience faced as claimed above is zero and EV buyers could be confident in getting the best from EVISHWA.

Does EV service need technocrats and not regular mechanics?

NITIN GORIVALE: Almost correct because EV products are techno marvels and need skilled people to repair them. We are also training our tech team at every location continuously in lieu with the changing dynamics. And our Smart BMS helps the EV user to rectify the battery even by connecting with our team online. This BMS has an auto cut-off to control the battery and switch it off as the temperatures fluctuate below or above a certain point. Our control is scheduled between 0-60 degrees and as and when the temperatures goes beyond the point, the Smart BMS will switch the battery off automatically.

What is the USP of EVISHWA?

NITIN GORIVALE: The maintenance of an EV is highly recommended. If not regularly serviced at a skilled workshop, the vehicle will have issues, just like our ICE engines (regular two wheelers). We offer five years warranty on major parts that should help the buyer to have a long trouble free ride with the vehicle. Secondly the 5-year warranty also sends a strong note into the market that EVISHWA has a long vision and has come to stay for longer periods. This gives real confidence to the buyers, dealers and all stakeholders of the company. Apart from this our wide range, Smart BMS and LFP batteries, competent pricing are our assets.
