Epiphany 16 encourages budding entrepreneurs

The recently concluded Epiphany 16 at Hyderabad Vasavi College of Engineering was the cheerleader for many budding tech entrepreneurs. The Ideation Bootcamp had participation of more than 30 ideas from young Engineering college students studying in various colleges of the city.

The event was conducted by NIT – Tiruchirapalli in association with NASSCOM, NEN , HEADSTART NETWORK, WADHWANI FOUNDATIONS, 10000 START UPS and LEMON IDEAS.  The E Cell of NIT-T had conducted similar bootcamps across the nation and at Hyderabad was a grand success.

The event saw many renowned and successful CEOs as mentors to this stream of aspiring ideates. The mentors list included Kapil Dev (EYUG Entp), Praful Vinayak (COREORAMA), Sudershan Chakravarthy (PRO STARTUPS), Umesh Thota (Co Founder – AUTH BASE PVT LTD), Sridhar Charavarthi (National Coordinator –  AMIGO CABS). The mentors played a crucial role in polishing these rough ideas into enterprising solutions ideal to cater end customers.

The workshop had guided the young guns about the ways to prepare a perfect project after making a thorough SWOT analysis. The whole day was educative to the participants. The most remarkable noting was most of the ideas were from budding women. The participation only proved that INDIAN women are moving ahead with greater pace ahead of their male counterparts who still aspire to be job seekers.

Entrepreneurship is ideal for women as they are multi tasking, ego less and flexible, all the qualities needed for an enterprise to succeed. The last two decades has seen a tremendous changes in the  startup arena. Earlier most felt turning to business was a taboo counting the failures. However today’s youth are more moving towards creating their own roads.

This aspect is quite encouraging for the startup syndrome. Looks like the bug as smitten all across, WAY2WORLD wishes that more and more enterprises must spring up to move the economic wheel towards progress. With inputs from internet – Rajkishan
